About the Artist
Laurie Krivo is a watercolor artist in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia. Flowing colors blending in harmony and contrast excite me and define my paintings. I love how watercolor paints whoosh, explode, and blend to express joy and wonder. I use these properties to create art that expresses my interpretations and feelings of nature and the world around me.
My paintings are inspired by walks in the woods, gardens, and neighborhoods near my home, as well as visits to cities and countrysides in other places. They highlight my unique style that is loose, expressive, and filled with color and contrast.
I am a member of 3rd Street Gallery in Philadelphia where I show my work throughout the year.
